So the other day, I was chilling on here before school and read this thread from this random greycel who asked about eye exercises.

and I referenced Kikercels eye area guide which talked about his improvements from squinting for an hour a day :lul:

and it made me curious to abouts if eye area training can actually work. So like an aspie, that day at school i hopped onto google scholar and found these two overlapping studies.

If you're too lazy to read: a mans orbicularis oculi muscles hypertrophied through hanging a 5kg weight on it daily, mogging the average size by double (2.5mm to 5mm)

so i guess this article in someway shows that orb occ training can actually work(ish?) since the oculi muscles can grow. so this is when i was led to research article #2

if you dont know: type II fast twitch muscle fibres are the type of muscle short but powerful movements. now this is usually for explosive exercises such as jumping, clean and jerk, sprinting etc. but i think that its worked through blinking for orb oc muscles.

so putting these two together, maybe we could say that a genuine effective way to try to grow your orb oc muscles would be through trying to somehow make blinking more difficult? we'd definitely have to make some contraption of some sorts but it may be worth it. the first article showed it grew through somehow attaching a 5kg dumbbell to your lower eyelid, but based on the dominant fast twitch muscle fibres it may be more effective through less reps but more intense exercises of the orb oc muscles. i tried to find some more articles about this but its not a heavily researched topic and im just a lazy faggot. this is still new stuff i found so there is more than likely holes in whatever im showing off rn but may be interesting to look into :what:

yeah I was trying to see if it did work. kikercels method was more on muscular endurance and getting used to the squinted position while this is more of growinf ur actual muscles

oh lol i remember this studie, saw it like 8 months ago, didnt remember, but are there any results in eye shape or Canthal tilt?

I seen exercises people do and it's like squinting while pulling your eyes back at your temples, to make blinking harder, could work

i dont think they said anything about aesthetic changes. if you mean what it's supposed to do for eye area i also added another 2nd reply to the original thread i didn't add which may answer ur question

its all theory rn I don't think anyone has tried it out themselves. some crazy big balled nigga would have to try it out for the greater good of looskmaxxing

attaching a 5kg dumbbell to the eyelid? how the fuck

however I do believe muscles in the eye area matter a lot, muscles and fat

if it had no influence on that area then you wouldn't notice significant changes when you sleep badly, at least with me, the upper eyelid gets too droopy when I sleep badly and I think it has to do with muscle weakness

yeah I'd guess that its some specialised weight made specifically for the eyes. I think for this to work we'd need some high iq engineering looskmaxxer to build a device for oculi resistance training :lul::lul:

but it wont change your overall canthal tilt for sure, because the lids are attached to a bone, (forgot all these names, was researching CT a bit) wich wont be moved with musscle training of course. it may change eyelid droopiness though.

yeah to be honest i really was just parroting kikercels guide since three sounds better than two. i guess from the other benefits by "improving canthal tilt" it could probbalt just mean making it more prominent through it being more deep set im not sure

nigga be so fr rn. your hooding wil ljust rip off if you add a 5 kg wieght to it waht is this cope

it works imo, also good for improving the symmetry of ur eyes due to muscle imbalances

On that note is there any correlation from "training" the nearby malaris?

this is dumb asfuck, straight from the jester patel course jfl.
