I mean it's good for studying so at 200 mg it helps me lock in and study but its half life is dogshit so if I go over 100 mg I can't sleep but at 100 mg I also can't lock in which is also why I haven't been that consistent w it

I seem to have a different experience every time. Sometimes I just feel more awake, sometimes I'm super amped up, sometimes it feels like a party drug, sometimes I feel like shit, sometimes I'm too stimulated.

This drug has been incredible for me, absolutely life changing in terms of productivity and focus. I feel locked in and focused when am on it. And not just a placebo-esque focus, I mean sit down on your computer for 6 hours without any music or excess stimulation, and just completing your work type of focus. I thought the focus I got from modafinil was cope for the first hour after I took it for the very first time - but after the 3rd hour of focus and productivity - I just couldn't call it a placebo drug anymore. This shit works.

However - it is important to space your doses out and not go too much over 200mg, otherwise your putting yourself at serious risk like I did:

3 days ago I was in the ER for taking 400mg + 6 shots of coffee on Sunday. I took the 400mg of modafinil in one go at approximately 9:55-10:05 and sipped the cup of black coffee for about an hour, finishing it at around 11:15-11:20 ish. I felt like a fucking god, I was pushing the boundaries and doing everything above and beyond. I was taking excess notes when I was testing my sheet, constantly looking for a mistake to fix and correct to optimize as much as I could, it felt like I was on a limitless pill.

Then about an hour later at about 12:30, I started to feel very stressed and nervous for a few minutes. I thought nothing of it and told myself it would go away within a few minutes. A few minutes afterwards, I started to feel my heart racing like crazy. I layed down, but nothing worked, so I went downstairs, told my parents, which then told me in return to go for a walk.

Am not gonna go into the full detail and depth of this story and what happened that day but this is basically what happened:

• Went to the ER since my heart felt like it was gonna explode, I was genuinely fearing for my life.
• Layed down on the bed, my parents and the doctors asked me what happened, I lied and told them it was the CDP choline supplement I've been taking + the caffeine since 1) CDP choline is a white powder, similar to the white residue modafinil leaves on your tongue after taking it so it made for a good alibi. 2) I didn't want anyone, especially my parents knowing I was taking Modafinil while am still in high-school.
• Doctor believed me with full confidence, checks my heart rate, says its fine and in the normal range. It was an intense heart palpitation, not my heart about to explode.
• I stay in the hospital for a bit, leave, go home, and lay down for the rest of the day.

(Retarted, I know - but I thought the worse that could happen was my brain hurting and feeling like shit, not this. My intention was to experiment and see what does and doesn't work for me, but I guess Caffeine + Modafinil doesn't.)

TLDR: Modafinil is legit, just be careful with it so you don't end up risking your health like I did.)

No difference. Tried 3 different brands of modafinil from different vendors myself and other than the wakefulness part I noticed nothing. Combined it with coffee and others and still nothing, I actually remember downing 2pills and drinking coffee and still going to sleep. It's not a miracle drug it's barely a good one. Although it's heavily used by Sillicon Valley indians and the White House.

Current stack (from best acting to worse):

Again, when it comes to nootropics : what might be cope for you could be life changing for me, likewise what could be cope for me could be life changing for you. No human on earth responds the same to any drug.

I've tried about 3 other nootropics, 2 of which on paper should have made me feel a lot better than Modafinil - but didn't. When I tried KW-6356, I felt great but I didn't get that smooth consistent focus I got from Modafinil. Sure it had a long half life - but it certainly didn't feel like I was off of an intense caffeine dose for 21 hours straight, maybe a slight alertness for about 15 hours.

Likewise my friend on here felt like he was on god mode after taking it - similar to what other influencers in the nootropics space have claimed:



though he hasn't taken Modafinil yet to compare them like I did, and he also ended up raping his sleep schedule for like 2 days afterwards. But it didn't end up doing anything to my sleep at all.
