Yes, it’s because Discord is a highly liberal (read: intolerant) platform. They don’t want to risk getting their server deleted. It makes sense they are acting that way. I was demoted after being inactive. I didn’t ask to be modded, though.

Yeah, they do. Because they let in women. However, the platform is owned by Discord, if there’s a male-only server, they would not allow it.
