In canada you have a lot of support if you have a shit life, free healthcare, shelter, might not be the best but it allows poor people to not live in horrible conditions. You can live in a shelter, get sone money, get hospitalized and cure things that threaten your life. There free lawyers for you if you dont have a certain salary (which is what im gonna take when i go to court), meaning no need to ruin yourself over lawyers.
In america, people like brendio are supposed to entirely pay everything, they need to pay for their lawyers, every single procedure they get, their healthcare. There absolutely no support for him, his parents and people in his situation. He is thankfully out of drugs but its why america has so many deaths, so many people ruin themselves and go in insane dept, take drugs and overdose in the street.
America is perfect if you are rich but if you are poor, you suffer and there nothing for you.
