Org vs. TikTok

Doomscrolling on tiktok (or insta) is proven to fry your dopamine sensitivity by exploiting the reward system.

The same can't be be said about reading chunks of words on a forum, but lots of people have reported developing severe addiction to lurking on here and i have had the same experience too.

What are your thoughts? Can being here cure your screwed overstimulated brain or is it just as addictive?

i wouldn’t say it’d cure addiction but atleast on org you’re exposed to more high iq content which requires you to think and do research as opposed to the stuff on tiktok
