Only "handsome" jocks do well because they provide the social circle, they give social points, but if you are good looking and kind of lacking on the personality side, you will be outcasted by men and any women that think you are too good for them. I have to engage in light flirtation with any women I come in contact with, because luckily most men won't do shit about it, but I don't want to know how nasty a woman can get. An example of that is how they treat that attractive women with no social standing, those women have no friends and have nightmare stories of how they were treated.

Yeah, i’m sure I’ve heard Pete Best made up the story. Probably some validity to the claims that fans preferred him but he was booted because he couldn’t play for shit and he didn’t associate with the band outside of playing in pubs.

Yeah, it took me a while to understand this. I never knew why most boys (grade school) didn't like me, the only boys I was cool with were ones that had no problems with women. But now, in college, I'm perfectly aware of this and steer clear of any incel looking types. It's unfortunate but now I know why some guys are really guarded when I speak to them and then I just end all future interactions with them. I have always tried to make friends with anyone regardless of appearance because I don't like seeing people alone, but I see the truth now.

It's important that above average looking men are aware they aren't liked if they aren't providing something for the other men, like the good looking men with social status provide.
