So I just got back from the orthodontist’s and got some pictures taken, and a xray. They said my maxillary midline is off by 5mm, and my mandibular midline is relatively on. Also I was told I have pretty good dental arches and good space for my tounge, it’s just my teeth are crooked so it feels like I have less space than what I do. They say I shouldn’t need expansion or my teeth will look weird. But the plan is to get braces to straighten everything out and to create space to pull down my missing canine. They say I shouldn’t have to extract any teeth. I also want to meet with a general physician to possibly get a sleep study done. I originally thought I’d need braces, marpe and a face mask to straighten, expand and pull my midrange forwards away from my airway. But I might not need to. Do you guys think my downwards growth will be improved from any of this? And I was told that I’m symmetrical, But how can I be if one side is wider than the other? Will my asymmetries fix themselves from this process?Any thoughts, comments, or concerns would be appreciated
