Getting Damon braces (no extractions) for an overbite — how do I make sure it’s actually correcting via arch expansion/lower jaw advancement rather than upper incisor retraction? Worried about lip flattening/thinning even without extractions.

should be fine as no teeth were extracted, can go for xrays and line them up

fym braces moving the lower jaw forward and arch expansion!?!?!? braces can litteraly only move teeth and your arch may get slighyly bigger but you wont get the benefits of jaw surgery marpe, and in no way does it bring the lower jaw forward. and what it does is based on your orthodontists choice he may choose to use Distalization but you need to ask him
