Hello, I had 2 rounds of braces from 9-12, and got a permanent bottom retainer and temporary top, after a few months I lost the temporary top retainer and my teeth never shifted, for about the past year I’ve been struggling tmj issues ( I believe from wrestling and grinding my teeth maybe) and I may get a retainer to fix my tmj would that beneficial anything I need to know? Also is my bottom permanent retainer beneficial or should o remove for maximum growth? Thanks!
