My orthodontist said that hes going to give me braces with elastics, I told him that I wanted herbst but he said that herbst appliance would be too aggressive in my case (i have a class II overbite). I'm worried that if I get elastics, my maxilla will become recessed and my tongue will not have enough room to properly rest on the roof of my mouth.
