Does using amcop bioattivators, essentially myobraces, help with CCW rotation and growing the maxilla and mandible forward?

they will only move your teeth, not your jaw bones, and won't give you the forward projection or CCW rotation or whatever u looking for

How about at the age of 15?

It looks like something like this. My chin is a bit recessed, and I have that thing on 2 hours every day, and 8-10 hours every night while I'm sleeping, along with traditional braces. My ortho told me it'll push the lower jaw forward, lift the midface, and widen the palate. Is she selling me cope?

yeah ortho is pure cope tbh. might as well just ropemaxx at that point.

ortho's probably just saying what the textbook says. 15 is late for serious structural changes from just braces + a device like that.

your chin recession and midface lift are gonial angle and maxilla development questions, not really orthodontics. you'd need to look into surgery or maybe more aggressive expansion if your palate is genuinely narrow.

if your ortho can show you empirical data on that specific device pushing the mandible that much at ur age, then maybe. otherwise, might be a softmaxed expectation.

mostly dental tipping for true bone forward growth and ccw rotation you would want BAFM which is a facemask but the elastics are on the bone so no dental tipping and this will give you forward growth for CCW rotation you would want custom Y and I plates using strong elastics also this has no dental tipping if you have the custom Y and I plates you would want to wear strong elastics constantly 22 hours plus that's also for the BAFM but if your sutures are more rigid you would probably want to get a palate expander ( I would recommend MSE or FME FME is the best) this will loosen your sutures giving you better results anyways just find a good and experienced ORTHODONTIST for these appliances they are very high tech and typical clinics won't do this the devices are pretty expensive too
