recently went to my dentist for him to refer me for a marpe/palate extender however he was quite hesitant to refer me and argued that my teeth a straight and i have i deep upper pallete and completed ignored the fact I’m having trouble breathing and have a narrow palate and have a 6 tooth smile he tried to argue my palate was average i overall didn’t get a referral should i go back and ask for a referal or try to get in contact with orthadontics myself

Leave him, orthos that only focus on how straight teeth are are bad news, they will recess you fuck up your palate anything just to make your teeth appear well, find a better ortho and get the expander.
