I mean wider zygos, maybe wider lower jaw if its not done growing. Improved nasal breathing. Downsides is that it can cause assymetry if it's not Sarpe, but than you won't get wider zygos and more prominence
maybe indirectly as expanders are for upper jaw only, twin block does give some mandibular growth tho, altho its still worth it imo if nothing too srs(better airways, broader u shaped palate etc) and yeah your cheekbones will 100% benefit from it. dont go for MSE tho

yeah your sutures never truly close and removable expanders work till your 25 but jewthodontics dont use it cuz its time consuming for them, tbh at your age its imo the best time for an upper jaw expander

Yeah I don’t think MSE is worth it giant used it in over 20 cases but had to stop due to unpredictable and asymmetrical results

you can’t ‘expand’ your mandible. only way to get more mass is thru surgery. don’t massater train, pulls zygos down and can make u look bloated asf.

Depends case by case but usually tends to be more subtle and I’m not too sure I’m by no means a professional ortho but according to the website: “The appliance may stimulate the growth of bone in the maxilla (upper jaw) and mandible (lower jaw) by applying gentle, continuous pressure. This can promote bone remodeling, which might lead to an increase in bone density in the treated areas.”
