Orthodontist is useless

I went to the orthodontist today hoping that they would contribute to fixing my airway and pretty bad mandibular recession, instead they took a intraoral scan and told me I need to wait 2 years and that I’ll get my braces (which I don’t want all too much) if my teeth become any less straight. Not once did they mention my airway or address my recession nor did they mention the pretty bad crowding I have on both sides of my mouth.Might just send a letter to the nhs and hopefully get booked for double jaw or Lefort

The NHS are too lenient and conservative and will NOT advance you the way you want .Go abroad for a lefort

Make sure you do your research. Anything that’s in the range of 15-20k is a normal price over there. Anything less and it’s abit risky to trust the surgeon
