Over Orthodontist told me Invisalign might not fix my teeth (SIDE X-RAY)

I'm 17, 180 and LTN. Had crooked teeth since probably 12 y. o. (Horrible open bite + crowding). Finally managed to get an appointment at a place where they do Invisalign, got a front and side x-ray, and the orthodontist redirected me to a different place cause he told me he is afraid he is not competent enough for this Asked him about MSE , and he told me I could have it (narrow smile and poor maxilla projection ) but it would cause crossbite cause my upper arch would be wider than lower
