What exactly is the point of a neck curl where most of the tension is in your arms holding up the plate against gravity? Wouldn't you feel something is off even when doing what is supposed to be a neck hypertrophy exercise? Even a toddler would have a better intuitive understanding of physics.

no resistance at the bottom and a little resistance at the top, what's he even doing :lul::lul:

aren't you supposed to push the plate against your head so you have resistance in the whole motion wouldn't that work

Scammers gonna scam

It’s how you do it tho. You only hold the plate so it won’t fall, you don’t actually use your hands to push it only to hold it.

He,s quite literally correct. Sad to say this though, Yeah you can optimize it using cables, but just stfu

The problem is not holding it in place, it's holding it from falling due to gravity and then him purposefully cutting the rep short when there starts to be a bit of tension on his neck. It's like... doing as much as possible without actually working the neck.

First of all, the incline bench is a better angle for muscular tension imo, the bottom half will have less tension and peak tension on the neck is when you curl your neck into your chest.

See how this is a very different range of motion when I do it?
