I just got off an 8 month Accutane treatment (50mg a day) and I want to know some other copes and softmaxxes I could use ATM before I get my shit lasered.

Rn, I got a derma stamp and some niacinamide serum OTW to get rid of some of the redness and to reduce some of the slightly deeper scarring. I am running some basic skincare (Basic hydrating cleanser and AM and PM moisturizers.

for acne scars you should be doing: microneedling (get a dr. pen or whatever they're called, try going for 1.5mm), only works of fresh scars. then depending on the kind of scar: 1. subcision (very important for all scar types apart from ice pick scars, actually untethers the scar, doesn't just affect its surface) 2. chemical peels like tca cross for ice pick scars 3. co2 laser (most expensive, use after the previous 2, helps with smoothing things out really well, but will do NOTHING for deep scars) 4. punch excision (if tca cross didn't help with your ice pick scars, try punch-excising a few and see how they heal, if the healing look better than the ice pick scar, go full blast).

idk where you're from but in continental europe they will just tell you to go do expensive co2 laser and that's it, but that's extremely far from optimal and it won't actually help unless you have very shallow scars. you might have to travel to an anglo country for this tbh, continental yurop sucks ass when it comes to acne scar removal
