I recently underwent bilateral otoplasty due to my ears being very protruding and a failo, I spent a total of 11K on the most qualified surgeon I could find who has 40+ years of experience and with someone who pioneered a device for this shit and the results I got aligned with what I wanted and exceeded any otoplasty results I have seen posted from other clinics. He was so happy with it he gave me the post-op report which usually you have to get via court when your suing them but he just gave it me.
He was super nice and showed immense care and wrote everything I wanted into my notes and told me he could do what I want but he I had to let him pin the mid part back or else my ear would look weird which I agreed too. The first surgeon before him I went to told me to go fuck myself and said he couldn't pin it that far back. This guy literally went above and beyond, im super happy.
BEFORE MEASUREMENT
"Projection of 25 and 26mm at superior helical apex and 22 and 21 at the mid ear"
After Measurement
"Measured 12mm from the superior ear and 16-17mm from the mid ear"
Summary
TOP : 26mm > 12mm
Mid : 22 mm> 16mm
Bottom : Untouched Ideal
My ears are now fully ideal and look super nice literally model tier, he abraded my cartilage to break the spring on it and then put sutures meaning my cartilage will heal and hold the new shape even without sutures. Most surgeons just put sutures and call it a day but he made sure he abraded the cartilage and got the ratio's perfect which is what is to be expected at this price.
