Otoplasty

I'm going to get this as soon as possible, anything I should know about this before I go ahead and get it with a nearby surgeon? From a looks perspective what do I need to be aware of?

Look at before and afters of the surgeons previous patients and make sure to avoid touching your ears while they're still healing you don't want to fuck up the shape and end up asymmetrical or botched. From a looks perspective I don't really know except that big ears are a falio. Hopefully someone more informed replies to this thread because I also plan on getting an Otoplasty in the future.
