150g of fiber? bruh i don't even wanna imagine how bloated and shit you feel, especially how constipated you're gonna get.

i really don't see why we would need so much fiber every single day, makes no sense.

Fiber is so tasty thats why i need to cook it first before eating it:love:

because ur gut bacteria need food to produce SCFAs to prevent leaky gut / intestinal permeability issues and properly regulate immune cells

think you can get by on way less than 150g fiber though

I don't like the appeal-to-nature fallacy thinking. However, it's a fact that sugar is only considered bad because it's usually consumed without fiber.

The main reason the sugar in fruits doesn't negatively impact you is because fruits are heavy in fiber.

Eating sugar with fiber slows down the absorption of sugar in the bloodstream, which prevents blood sugar spikes.

wild yams, cassava, tiger nuts, underground plants, wild fruits, wild leaves, stems, seeds, honey and seasonal fruit

refute it then

oh wait here comes cardiac arrest at age 30 from high cholesterol red meat diet
naw i for sure eat a lot of fiber, just the soluble fiber from vegetable juice and fruit though

brutal....

are you seriously going to believe this mainstream bullshit?

look at any vegan or person who consumes high fiber, the results speak for themselves

alex leonidas eats 100+ grams of fiber daily

it doesn’t take a scientist to understand that our ancestors were 100% not eating fibrous leaves and stems all day destroying their guts

now you're just ignoring evolutionary anatomy (our digestive tract is literally evolved for fiber)

low diversity low fiber = death of gut microbiome, its just basic logic a 2 year old can figure it out to be quite frank

ngmi.

how is it designed for fiber? holy fuck. we cannot digest fiber like herbivores or plant eaters can. our stomachs are much smaller and have the acidity adapted to eating carcasses. between 1.5 and 2. much lower than anything like a cow or gorilla.

gut microbiome diversity is affected much more by prebiotics and probiotics commonly found in things like yogurt and kefir. anything that ferments will do that. and by that logic yes plants can have that only by the fermentation of fiber and guess what we can’t do that in our stomachs, only herbivores with multiple stomachs and low acidity can. jfl.

gut bacteria digest the fiber to produce SCFAs needed to maintain gut integrity

our stomach acidity protects against pathogens, not proof we're carnivore

probiotic foods only adds species, you need to feed them - how are u going to feed them with meat only?

omg hahah. scfa’s are found in way more abundance in animal fats like butter, butter is literally named after butyrate a scfa.

that’s exactly proof that we are carnivores. high stomach acidity kills off parasites and any harmful diseases if the meat is extremely old and or rotting.

never said meat only. there’s multiple ways to add cultures. bacteria in kefir feed off the lactase sugars in it.

butter contains trace amounts of butyrate, it doesnt create it, gut bacteria do - by fermenting plant fiber

the butter you eat isn't even reaching your colon, fibrous foods do

many omnivores have similar acidity for pathogen defense, doesn't mean they should be carnivore

once again, kefir is only introducing strains of bacteria, how are u feeding them? oh right... that's where fiber comes in

what? if butter doesn’t reach the colon the how do fibrous foods do? it goes through the same digestive track? what man. are you referring to the fact butter is easily digestible therefor there’s no waste matter and that fiber is indigestible and sits in your digestive track causing bloating and digestive problems?

uhh lactase is not a fiber my guy. it is a sugar. i dont know the exact number of so called strains of bacteria produced, but it is obviously much higher than your digestive track trying to break down fiber but failing to do so.

and it does make sense that the bacteria in your stomach try to break down the fiber and some byproducts like scfa’s are made. but the point is that there are much healthier and better alternatives for your gut and gut biodiversity than letting fiber destroy your gut lining and cause extreme gas and or bloating. i myself can’t go above 10 grams of fiber daily of else i get stomach pain and horrible bloating. getting rid of fiber in my diet cured my ibs.

butter gets absorbed in the small intestine, its not reaching your colon, maybe a little bit but negligible and only the upper parts

fiber on the other hand does reach the colon where its needed to feed the gut microbes - the only reason you're bloated on high fiber is because you're not adapted to it, your microbiome is literally fucked.

if you've been eating low-fiber foods, many of ur fiber fermenting bacteria have died off or gone dormant

suddenly eating high fiber will obviously produce extra gas until the microbiome catches up, that's why you do this gradually

never mentioned lactase as a fiber, only reason you'd fail to break down fiber is is inadequate diversity of gut microbes

at the end of the day i just did my research and applied things and it worked. i felt significantly better.

we can keep going back and forth debunking each others claims forever. what matters is in the practice that you feel best tbh

and i still think you’re a high iq great user because 99% of the forum can’t articulate a point like yourself

mirin cope tho.

hahahah, don't bring up your religious religious belief in conversation about factual things.
fiber is still indegestible for human guts to process you can look it up you ignorant slave.

are you retarded?

what does evolution have anything to do with religion?

damn the iq filter is hitting hard with this thread....

fiber is fermented by gut microbes, that's kind of the point of this thread.....
