Firstly survival, secondly mating, thirdly helping our offspring survive aka setting him up to mate in the future. Everything we do is for these three things, subconsciously or not.

Chasing what nature or even society tells you to isn’t guaranteed to make you feel anything, and the person with the actual closest idea is yourself.
