An eight-year-old girl child model and blogger has staged a marriage and moved in with a fellow influencer aged 13 who she is dating with the full support of both their parents.
But their parents have denied cashing in on their children’s fame.
Influencer and model Mila Maxanets, 8, and influencer Pavel Pai, 13, recently announced they had moved in together in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv after both their parents supported the move.
According to the local news site Kyiv VGorode, the bloggers’ parents do not see anything wrong with this and encourage the minors to live together and shoot somewhat provocative content.
The parents claim that the children should be allowed to do what they think is right and it is not up to them as parents to stop them.
Social media outraged
However, social media users are outraged by this reaction from the parents, with many people claiming a moral line has been crossed by the children, whilst their parents have encouraged the behaviour.
Lawyer and criminologist Anna Malyar commented on the issue on her Facebook page, accusing the parents of behaving negligently towards their children.

“The girl has millions of subscribers on various social networks who constantly follow her as an idol,” Malyar said.
“So there is a risk that they will begin to imitate their idol and become easy prey for paedophiles.
“This absolutely goes against the normal sexual development of children.”
The underaged couple publishes photos together on social networks without oversight from any adults.
According to the local news site Censor, the mother of the girl, Daria Maxanets, age not disclosed, actively encourages her daughter’s Instagram career.
