sell free marketing services

free for now while I build my porfolio
Why plumbers? I feel like you'd get more attention from S&M businesses, since they'd appreciate it more, and probably tell other S&M businesses.

You should try outreaching to bakeries or food related ones, not ones with actual location though since it's likely they're hitting close to no margins, since restaurants barely do well if they're family or small scaled.

Outreach to the ones who have a digital platform, you can build a nicer portfolio since you can link your stuff, and they're more likely to be happy since they have higher margins, so they'll be happy for anything for free, and they'll trust you more.

Places with barely any money to make sound like they'll bite and get your free marketing, but they'll probably have to think about it really hard with their family, and staff, they'll usually just say that its not needed since it takes too much energy and they barely have energy to run the already barely profitable business.

Entertainment, Labor, and tech is pretty hard to land a marketing gig at, especially with no portfolio, so food and goods (like digital marketplaces, like the pages which sell clothes and stuff) are a lot easier.

I saw some guy he had like 400 followers, he sold shoes and other tech, since this was around Ramadan, he was able to capitalize on that event by making a post saying that every person who tags atleast 3 people in the comments, likes, and follow and all the basic stuff get entered into raffle which wins them free airpods, as well as a free pair of shoes in the profile. He instantly blew up with in the month and got like 5k followers, which I think is really good for starting out and in the first month.

BASICALLY; food & goods = easier to market = goat for starting = easier to get a gig = easier to do your own gig
