@AlexBrown84? Silent.
This is such a shit comparaison and image dude lol
they clearly have an intention to exterminate all Christians from NigeriaThat is a genocide?
are you telling me the concept of Jihad is equal for you as a religious Muslim and for those radical Islamist groups? How are you going to tell a religious person not to associate it with religion when you use a term that comes from the religion itself? Just use the name of the group that is responsible if you’re not truly Islamophobic. Everyone knows Boko Haram.
No but if I see anyone using the term “jihadist” or “Islamist” then usually it’s an islamophobe. And most Islamic people will feel the same way.they clearly have an intention to exterminate all Christians from Nigeria
can you claim the same about Israeli actions in Gaza?
are you telling me the concept of Jihad is equal for you as a religious Muslim and for those radical Islamist groups?
no
I don't know youdo ppl not know me or do ppl not know im black![]()
it's a shit comparison to you because you don't care about non-Muslims, right? This is such a shit comparaison and image dude lol
Really? How do you know that?they clearly have an intention to exterminate all Christians from Nigeria
Yes i cancan you claim the same about Israeli actions in Gaza?
thats how you know blacks are retardedChristian Nigerians and Jews have theommon enemy
Why would you assume that? It's a shit comparaison because Palestine genocide is being commited by an actual entity validated and recognized by most actual countries, supported by theses countries with weapons and money, while Nigerian christians are being killed by far right extremist islamists that nobody supports and likes for the sake of their ideology, islamism and zionism is the same, do you know that islamism terrorism also occur to other muslims in muslim countries (Pakistan for example), and literally changed the landscale of my country in the 1990s because of a islamist civil war trying to take over killing mostly muslims and non muslims?it's a shit comparison to you because you don't care about non-Muslims, right?
Foh with that libtard bullshit. Do you think these Muzzies just wake up and want to do these things for political reasonsIslam is a religion, Islamism means political Islam and it's radical in 99% of the cases
most Islamic people think that *those guys* are victims? No but if I see anyone using the term “jihadist” or “Islamist” then usually it’s an islamophobe. And most Islamic people will feel the same way.
it really doesn't matter how many countries validate something and how much supports do somebody get, when we talk about genocide it's INTENTION of the perpetrators that mattersWhy would you assume that? It's a shit comparaison because Palestine genocide is being commited by an actual entity validated and recognized by most actual countries, supported by theses countries with weapons and money, while Nigerian christians are being killed by far right extremist islamists that nobody supports and likes for the sake of their ideology
noislamism and zionism is the same
I know and I agree but how can you compare that to Israel? are you telling me those guys from Boko Haram have no genocidal intention?do you know that islamism terrorism also occur to other muslims in muslim countries (Pakistan for example), and literally changed the landscale of my country in the 1990s because of a islamist civil war trying to take over killing mostly muslims and non muslims?
I’m saying if you use stupid terms like “jihadist” or “Islamist” then you are speaking in the language of an islamophobe. Muslims don’t use these terms for themselves, islamophobes do.most Islamic people think that *those guys* are victims?look, the people who hate us kafirs and want to convert us and conquer our lands call themselves Islamists and call their like-minded individuals quote on quote to wage a JIHAD on [instert kafir region]
it's not like "Islamophobes" made-up anything, that's what THEY RADICALS say and do and all ordinary Muslims should be on our side, in order to fight actual Islamophobia as well
it really doesn't matter how many countries validate something and how much supports do somebody get, when we talk about genocide it's INTENTION of the perpetrators that matters
in fact, these two cases are incomparable but not in the way you believe, I mean it's just obvious if you wanna be objective but I know you don't
no
there's a room for Muslims in Israel but there's no room for Christians, Hindus, Yazidis, Jews in any of these Islamist quasi-states
I know and I agree but how can you compare that to Israel? are you telling me those guys from Boko Haram have no genocidal intention?
you're of bad faith for telling me that there is no difference between a literal country having validation and recogniztion to commit a genocide versus a terrorist group that most countries are against and try to destroy that is trying to commit a genocide, how can i even continue to conversate with you now lol, good luckit really doesn't matter how many countries validate something and how much supports do somebody get, when we talk about genocide it's INTENTION of the perpetrators that matters
in fact, these two cases are incomparable but not in the way you believe, I mean it's just obvious if you wanna be objective but I know you don't
I see what they doReally? How do you know that?
I mean you can but it doesn't mean you're rightYes i can
for some, Islam is just a religionFoh with that libtard bullshit. Do you think these Muzzies just wake up and want to do these things for political reasonsmost of them are inspired their holy book to do so. Nothing good has ever came from this demonic religion. All Muzzies should revert back to their indigenous beliefs
I’m saying if you use stupid terms like “jihadist” or “Islamist” then you are speaking in the language of an islamophobe. Muslims don’t use these terms for themselves, islamophobes do.
Summary:you didn't get it, it doesn't matter if the perpetrators are internationally supported or alienated, what matters when it comes to genocide classification is their intention and actionsyou're of bad faith for telling me that there is no difference between a literal country having validation and recogniztion to commit a genocide versus a terrorist group that most countries are against and try to destroy that is trying to commit a genocide, how can i even continue to conversate with you now lol, good luck
Aren't you just proving me right?I see what they do
I mean you can but it doesn't mean you're right
for some, Islam is just a religion
for others, it's also a political ideology which very often has radical tendencies
1. Are "Islamism" and "Jihadism" Islamophobic words?
Not inherently, but they can be used in Islamophobic ways.
- Islamism: This word is generally used in academic and political discourse to describe ideologies or movements that want to organize government and society according to interpretations of Islam (e.g., the Muslim Brotherhood, Jamaat-e-Islami). It does not mean “Islam” itself. However, some polemicists conflate Islamism with Islam, which can slip into Islamophobia.
- Jihadism: This is a modern term (20th–21st century) used to describe violent movements that justify armed struggle as a religious duty, usually against governments, non-Muslims, or Muslims they view as apostates. The word comes from jihad, which in Islamic tradition has broader meanings (striving, struggle, moral effort). Labeling all jihad as "terrorism" is reductionist and offensive to Muslims, but using jihadism to describe a specific militant trend is not in itself Islamophobic.
So: The words themselves are analytic labels, not slurs. Islamophobia arises when they’re misapplied to tar all Muslims or Islam in general.
2. Who invented these terms — Muslims or non-Muslims?
- Islamism: The English word appears in the 18th–19th century as just another way of saying “Islam” (like “Mohammedanism”). In the 20th century, Western academics started using it to mean political Islam. Today, both Muslim and non-Muslim scholars use it in that sense.
- Jihadism: This is largely a Western media and academic coinage from the late 20th century to distinguish violent jihadist movements (like al-Qaeda) from other forms of Islamist activism. It wasn’t a self-description originally — militants would simply say jihad or mujahideen.
3. Do Muslims use these terms themselves?
- Islamism: Some Muslim thinkers accept or tolerate the term (especially in academic writing), but Islamists themselves usually don’t call their ideology Islamism. They tend to say “Islamic movement” (haraka islamiyya), “Islamic state,” or just “Islam.”
- Jihadism: Followers of violent jihadist groups almost never call themselves jihadists or say they practice jihadism — those are outsider labels. They usually identify as mujahideen (“those engaged in jihad”) or claim to be simply “true Muslims.”
Summary:
- The terms are not inherently Islamophobic, but misuse can make them so.
- Both were popularized mainly by Western scholars and media, not by Muslims themselves.
- Muslims and Islamist/jihadist groups generally do not self-identify with these terms, though Muslim academics may use them analytically.
you didn't get it, it doesn't matter if the perpetrators are internationally supported or alienated, what matters when it comes to genocide classification is their intention and actions
I see what they do innitI mean you can but it doesn't mean you're right
It does.not really
read the underlined
you sound like those little Nazis who cry that the term Nazi is a Jewish word for National SocialistIt does.
That's what I said in my posts.
- Both were popularized mainly by Western scholars and media, not by Muslims themselves.
- Muslims and Islamist/jihadist groups generally do not self-identify with these terms.
You acted surprised you got insulted when you were using islamophobic buzz words. If you keep using them I will keep insulting you, easy as that.you sound like those little Nazis who cry that the term Nazi is a Jewish word for National Socialist
oh yeah bro Jihadists don't actually call themselves Jihadists BUT mujahideen (“those engaged in jihad”) and Islamists don't actually call their ideology Islamism but “Islamic movement” (haraka islamiyya), “Islamic state,” or just “Islam --- ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS IS A PROPER TERM FOR THAT IDEOLOGY? so essentially criticising some Islamist regime is actually a critique of Islam? --- DOESN'T THAT CONFLATION NOT GENERATE ACTUAL ISLAMOPHOBIA IN THE CASE WHERE "ISLAMIC MOVEMENT" IS BAD?
those aren't "Islamophobic buzz words" and I didn't "insult you" but wrote a post about THEM, NOT YOU, it's you that associate your religion with radicalism and terrorism for some weird reason and feel called outYou acted surprised you got insulted when you were using islamophobic buzz words. If you keep using them I will keep insulting you, easy as that.
As already shown to you those are not 'islamophobic buzzwords', they are used by scholars to describe political ideology. If acknowledging the values and beliefs that are commanded by Islam to be a political ideology that is itself linked to terrorism and genocide is islamophobic, we should all be islamophobic because the word would no longer mean prejudice against a group for no reason but rather rightly denouncing harmful ideology for many clear reasons such as their terrorism. Define islamophobic, and if your definition can fit a reasonable discussion of extremists who don't represent the majority of your religion then stop acting like there is anything wrong with being islamophobic in this case. You acted surprised you got insulted when you were using islamophobic buzz words. If you keep using them I will keep insulting you, easy as that.
