Just went outside and observed that so many zoomers prettyboymaxxed. This include curtains cut, jewellery, style etc. Prettyboy style will soon become same as Ronaldo cut popular by men and you won’t gain any extra appeal because you will be like everyone. Time to find new niche. What is your opinion?

Good to hear. I was planning to start just beating up any pretty boy I see on the street because I'm getting tired of them dominating the JB market. But yeah, fuck you all

but prettyboy wasn't a niche lol
It's literally the norm, the standard for 14-18 kids
You dont get a perm or curtains to get noticed, you do it to look like the rest

When I was in high school, I rarely have seen a prettyboy. All guys wanted to be masculine, wearing jewellery was seemed cringe/gay, short cuts/ small fringe were the normie things.

I've got curtains that are slightly slicked back, dress plainly (I rarely wear my father's old but bold Ralph Lauren zip up) and I don't wear jewellery (I own a silver ring a relative got for me in Mecca).

I wouldn't say I'm a textbook prettyboy, if we're talking about fashion.

My point is that many 14-20yo are copying the TikTok prettyboy looks. Prettyboymaxxing is suggested as a method to improve female gaze by lookism forums/channels while it is almost mainstream. When thing becomes mainstream it doesn’t make you special.

I'm 24. I don't wear clunky jewellery and even though I found my dad's old clothes from the 90s some of which are somewhat baggy I try not to look like a typical tiktoker type. It's nothing special. You need to stand out from the rest.

Although you are a zoomer yourself, millenial’s culture heavily went towards everything being masc. I can clearly tell who are the users on this site who either were influenced by an older relative or simply years behind current trends, it really gives. Zoomer’s change to prettyness is a 180 degree turn, its sharply dissimilar if you put it next to millenial stuff

Why zillennial in this context? (Please don't just say I was born in 1997)
You lean towards more zoomers from your posts (and by the fact you are chasing the prettyboy aesthetics) but ‘97 is an interesting bunch, we (I’m a bit younger than you , early 20s) were the last generation to experience the analog world. We still were kids before iphone dropped. For guys who are in their teens now it’s very different yet we are just a few years apart. Social media and the internet in general really started to explode around 2010

For this reason I’d guess you’d probably fit in more with “zillenials” in your lived experiences than guys who are teens now or older millenials

I wouldn't quite say I'm chasing the prettyboy aesthetics:

I just try to go with whatever suits me (while still being authentic) according to what users here say when they make guides.

When I first went to school they used Windows 95 computers for the first three years before they switched over to XP.

What about people born in 2000? Never fit in well with zoomers tbh I think I am part of the zillenial group aswell after skimming that article.

I wont say my exact date, but I was born around that time too.

I always felt like we fell between chairs, we still could experience the world without it being completely digital but only while we were kids

Millenials encountered social media when they were already past their teens (not counting early stuff like myspace) , while the younger half of zoomers never got to experience how the world was without internet spiderwebbing every aspect of our lives

Imo this makes this group interesting and people not born during these few years cannot really relate to our life experience

People I get along the best are like ‘96-2004 , those seem to have this same view

Younger guys are “ too digital “ for me, I can feel a separation between us
