YOU MUST LIE. especially if you are white. Indian immigrants use nepotism to get fake internships and BULLSHIT positions at their uncles "firms" while they are in college. And when they graduate who do you think the big corporation will pick, and Indian with 2 solid (bullshit) "internships" on their belt or you? You need to by lying about everything, especially past work experiences and internships which are basically impossible to track if you put down some obscure business. You should NOT however lie about you Uni since i have seen people get fked for that even decades down the line.
