over the counter hydrogen peroxide for teeth?

ive heard people use over the counter hydrogen peroxide (about 3%) to whiten their teeth
I was wondering if this actually gives noticable results (if not i was looking into stronger methods)
for ppl that have done do u dilute it or just swish it straight out the bottle

I personally used 6 Percent but 3 percent obviously works
