overprojected or underprojected?

TLDR people in person describe me as having overprojected chiin despite me having recessed chin

in person a week ago my friend drew a picture of my side profile in class for fun or something. the picture ended up looking something like this. this was my best attempt at recreating it but i thik it had more forward growth and the chin was projected like a mm or two more if you can imagine that

at lunch the same friend was showing the picture around and then he said oh shoot wait he kinda looks like this guy and pulled up this picture

and now yesterday i was drawing a picture of fucking cassius thundercock in geometry and this ltn recessedcell said "wait dont you think he kinda looks like dogeater420" like bro what the flip

the reason i am posting this is because i have a slightly recessed chin and overbite. i am confused as to why people may percieve me as having a well/ overly projected chin when i do not like even i told my friend i wanted to get braces cause i have an overbite and he was like "really? it doesnt really look like it, i wouldnt have known if you hadnt told me" or sum. my best guess is that since i have a very broad chin from the front (literally was half the width of my zygos until puberty widened my skull) that might make them subconciously not think of me as being recessed or something.

Yes, Deep labiomental fold are associated with masculine, projected chins + you've a full lower lip which together creates an illusion of a projected chin despite it being slightly behind the ideal projection
