Overvaluing 'masculine' looks, undervaluing 'softer' beauty

Having been on this forum for several years, I see that the men who are rated the highest are those with very masculine features — a massive jaw, strong jawline, pronounced brow ridge, and aggressive hunter eyes.

On the other hand, men who look younger, with stunning facial harmony, smaller noses, fuller lips, and almond-shaped eyes — but with less bone mass — are at best rated as 'chadlite' here.

Why? Are most men so insecure that prettyness> roughness?

What you fail to realize, is that the things that make those hypermasculine guys attractive, are the same things that make prettyboys attractive. Good jaw / bone structure, good soft features (nice eyes, nose, lips), and height... which all the guys in the above pics have. Its just that they ALSO have incredibly youthful features, nice hair, etc. which categorizes them as prettyboys, that's their archetype, which girls love.
