Just imagine - you are living in a time period where machines are not a thing yet and need manual support for everything from transport to farming. You can breed horses but still would've mind some intelligent input. You can just get manpower for almost free. You can do whatever you want with them. You dont need to pay them or give them incentives. But since it wont be possible nowadays , Ai and robotics should be developed . Just lol at not being a plantation owner in Antebellum Usa
