bone graft where exactly?

also can

can so much really go wrong? sounds like a random person could have done better surgery lmao
between the spaces where the cuts are performed. imagine doing 10 degree downgraft + segmental lefort with 7-10mm widening without bone graft. gl on that recovery:ROFLMAO:

The bsso cut is the most interesting thing, especially since there was a different reddit post with the same complaint about pag. I mean if that's true you can't write it off as 'every surgeon has botches' right, it's like a fundamental mistake, error in theory not in execution.

Yea pag is 100% botcher at this point, he might have some skill on something. But he is a risk to go too 100%, i dont think he is horrible but going to him would be stupid

i wonder why nobody talks about american jaw surgeons here, maybe its because most org posters are from eu. there must be many americans who are better, maybe its the best country overall too, for bimax.

too expensive accom, travel and surgery + hospital fees - if money wasn't an issue and I lived in the USA i wouldn't bother with Ramieri and Zarrinbal

But usa surgeons have extreme botches too lol, gunson have mutliple law suits, lacoms have botches. Bell have left surgery tools inside of patients. And he is 100k lol. Jaw surgery is just a hard surgery to get right

The fistula would not open in the middle of the palate. It would exit through the suture line or the nasal cavity. In addition, an infection is necessary for it to become a fistula. There are many inaccuracies in this case report.

true you could do all the planning on your side, learn realistic movements to tailor to your plan but at the end of the day it's on the surgeon whether he fucks it up in the OR.

it is also quite hard to find a good surgeon nowadays who can do great movements combined with soft tissue manipulation without a real risk of botching you but hey thats the risk you gotta take it ain't the easy fix some people think it is.

Just go to Giant and get chadification surgery :Sisi:

Because many patients trust their doctor too much. However this is still pagnonis fault

They are cheap cuz 5,5 Real = 1 dollar.
They are extremely efficient because orthognathic surgery can only be performed by dentists who are highly specialized in oral and maxillofacial trauma. Therefore, everything is planned with occlusion and TMJ positioning in mind. In addition, they are the professionals most knowledgeable about the veins, arteries, innervation, and overall anatomy of the face.

good results

but you do realise OMFS nearly everywhere except for a small handful of countries require dual degrees of Medicine and Dentistry? Brazil wouldn't be any different.

Guys, what are your thoughts on turkey? Please let me know before I get bodged and rope

99% of americans arent going to do implants as well, theyre more expensive, and giant working wiht pags made him .org famous. Only American surgeon ive found who also will do implants and can sometimes take insurance is Steinbacher. and even he has had some concerning botches. most want implants with their bimax. cuz in most cases, all bimax alone will do is make u mtn.

bims good. he does big rotations, implants and is about 6k dollars for bimax
i consulted with him. he quoted 18k for trimax, infras, angles, and paranasal bone putty. i might skip the angles but everything else sounds amazing. I wonder if he does fat grafts for the infras, because the advise ive generally seen for ppl wanting infras is go conservative and fill the rest with fat grafts. He also had way better bedside manner than the other PSL Surgeons

He's a really good jaw surgeon and you'll get a good result but he seems like quite a newbie when it comes to implants. Jaw implants are very easy to fuck up so make sure you're certain he knows what he's doing.

Infras are also a very hard one. It's still an open question whether an intraoral incision (most likely what a maxfac will use) fucks up your soft tissue compared to a transconjunctival incision (preferred by Eppley and done by oculoplastic surgeons). There is no solid answer on this as most data about intraoral placement of infra implants come from Giant cases with Pags or Turkish surgeons who are butchers.

nah that makes a lot of sense, and ive been told this as well. i likely would only get infras with him. ive seen one case of infras with him and it went fine
