There sure are a lot of similarities. I think that the concept of natural energy in particular is quite universal among non-monotheistic religions.I think paganism is similar to Vedic Hinduism in that regard even though paganism is often used as a catch all term for all non-monotheistic western religion. Very focused on the cycles of life and cosmology maybe it’s a bias since I was brought up as such but it made more sense to me than a paternal anthropomorphic god figure.
