Yea ita funny almost what he did expect, it doesnt look so bad even apart from him obv lacking fat and having bulgy eyes. The implant is small in design and Conservative even. It could have been 10x worse.

Also a eye area like that will never be saved, because of he goes hard on fat graft he will have lumps and skin sag and overall look botched. But with good fat grafting of he can avoid lumps it would be atleast decent looking.

I mean the implant didnt age him, yes it made it more hollow. But he already looked aged. But the thing is also pag cant recommend other treatments like fat graft or some kind of lift to fix it

As I understand it, “feathering” the edges of PEEK implants is difficult due to the material properties. I would guess Giant is better at designing them to blend in with natural angle changes on the bone rather than having them stop suddenly on a flat surface. Using titanium instead also allows thinner edges.

I do a completely different kind of engineering than he does but there’s some analogy with metalwork/coating design.

I don’t even have a negative orbital vector (somehow, despite my extreme bug eyes) so I am not sure I’m really an infra candidate at all.

Fat graft over implant is not an idea I’m comfortable with, the implant capsule is infection prone.

I have come round to the idea that you should get fat grafts before implants if your under eye is thin but unfortunately I’m all out of time to execute.

I mean i dont think its that prone to infection, i mean fat graft before is good but most people need touch up. @RealSurgerymax what's your thoughts on this, i know you said its better to them separate because of inflammation. Before or after ?
