Saw a result from pag where the jaw implant were extremly assymetric and he didnt want to fix it. So i dont think its weird. Aesthetics are not enough to require free revision for most people

For me the most upsetting things are that he tried to pass off the recent problem cases as orthodontic issues rather than accepting there was a fault (regardless of financial responsibility aspect) and - primarily - that he’s telling patients that he’s bored of surgery and wants to retire.

I know for my part that I don’t do my best work when I’m dispassionate and disengaged from what I’m doing. It will be the same for him and for anyone - we are only human.

Yes overskeletonization is what I call it - and it has happened many times. I dont usually see it as an accident or complication but the first stage of a 2 stage plan. If people are extremely hypoplastic then sometimes the skeleton and soft tissue envelope need to be addressed (at separate times)

Fat grafting alone cannot create good results if more than a couple mm of projection is needed, actual hard support in the form of implants are required.

I guess if the undereye skin is thin, it may be more prone to show edges of implants right? How do you fix overskeletonization? do you apply fat graft or fillers on top after the surgery for a harmonious outcome?
