Balkan countries are a popular destination for Indians because of having low standards of medical practice and being cheap. India's medical entrance exam is legendarily difficult so those that fail and don't have the money to go to US and UK end up in balkan lands and Russia. They do part time jobs on the side during their study and residency and go back to India to convert their licences to Indian ones or just stay in the balkans although that is rare because wages in Balkan land is dogshit.
