My parents home in Pakistan is near KPK. it's a Taliban stronghold apparently. i heard gilgit has some of the best scenery in the world. they call it the Switzerland of Pakistan

kpk isnt safe, theres terrorist attacks there but gilgit is safe for sure. some political turmoil there but nothing that will kill you.

for the whole province, in various places theres terrorists within kpk alone and if youre anywhere near the afghan-pakistan border you risk getting shot by a terrorist from across the border. it happens often. youre welcome btw. where are you from? as for kashmir, as long as you stay around murree you will be safe. when you get close to indian-occupied kashmir you risk getting shot by indian troops, they often violate the rules and many pakistani civilians get killed or hurt. basically the rule of thumb is that you dont want to be anywhere near the afghan or indian border and youll be fine. i advise you to stay out of kpk as a whole, even other pakistanis are warned.

Only place I seem to like is sikkim. Maybe goa and utrakhand are nice places to go to. But tbh goa and other tropical places in India I’d rather just go Indonesia or philipenes. And utrakhand isn’t that sunny

definitely when its summer bro. its truly the most beautiful place on earth. my pakistani friend whom doesnt care for pakistan said he would only go to visit gilgit. his mom visited it in the 80s lol.
