When indigenous people complain about colonization they should try to acknowledge that this and other fucked up stuff is what their people used to do in their utopic societies. Now imagine you are a colonizer, exploring new lands, and come across monkey resembling beings eating each other to invoke the God of rain. What would be your reaction?

The spanish colonization was "peaceful" because the indigenous people thought they were a kind of Gods that their traditions described. However the Brits were not approached with such enthusiasm, whenever indigenous people would see a brit they would chimpout and try to kill him to later on eat it. That's the main reason of the indigenous "genocide", the natives were the ones who acted very agressive, so in turn the colonizers got agressive as well.
