There were barely any Jews ever in South Asia. Main communities are the Kerala Jews (two distinct groups, one more Levantine shifted and one more South Indian), but even then quite small. I believe Pakistan had a community of Bukharan Jews in Karachi at some point and my cousin told me Rawalpindi has a very small number of Jews as well at one point.
