Palatal expansion

I was just informed that i'm a candidate for skeletal expansion since my intermolar width is 35mm, and I have other issues myofunctionally. But I have concerns, first my face is already on the wider side. My Bitemporal width is already on the wider side, but my bizygomatic width on the other hand is a lower than my bitemporal width. If I choose expansion will it affect my Bitemporal Width or just my Bizygomatic width? And also what would happen to my mandible once I expand my maxilla? Won't it look small in comparison? depends on age, if your too young and you deny the treatment it could be a life of having an ass airway, Also they take the mandible into account pre expansion
