Msdo is only for lower jaw expansion. Don’t you need to match upper with MSE or SARPE?
MSE probably. But I'm not an ortho, there are specific cases where segmented lefort 1 is enough. It's not optimal generally tho, small expansion, 25% relapse rate. MSE gives bigger results (if u're lucky, it can also fail, especially if u're around the age of 25), it also relapses to a certain degree. But still, for expansion: MSE. It is by far not aesthetic though. If u're recessed and need a bimax anyway, get a segmented lefort 1 and hope for the best. It will probably give the most natural looking result, from what I've read. If it isn't enough, get MSE afterwards.

No foward growth/ maxillary growth is fine, it just needs expansion I believe. Same with palate, that’s why I’m leaning towards MSE or Sarpe instead. Will probably consult a maxfac about this. Thank you for actually answering my question!

How is your forward growth as well ? Mine is good; but I need maxillary expansion and palate expansion. So I guess there’s no need for Lefort 1
You don't necessarily have to have that. They can just move your teeth.

Yeah, but only slightly not too bad. I don’t care too much about that though, what’s more important is having a wide palate and maxilla. Sarpe or MSE will probably help widen the lips as well.

It’s weird because someone like Zyzz has a very small mouth yet seems to have a wide maxilla. Wonder how that happens. Might be steroid use ?
