Palate expansion…

So homeoblock is obviously the most effective palate expansion that we know of.

However even with homeoblock, I’m struggling to see the true value in palate expansion beyond talk…

On paper it seems great, wider palate proves for a better smile and homeoblock can even add bone mass to the maxilla… but do we really think it’s worth it as compared to implants or lf1:2:3

its a tooth borne expander, a bone borne expander like mse will have far greater results, almost similar to implants

As implants are more expensive I’ve considered it, my maxilla isn’t severely recessed but people often mistake maxilla for ramus length and chin projection
