palate expender at 17

I am 17 years old and I have my first appointment with an orthodontist in a few days.

My teeth are already pretty crooked so I would get braces anyways. But getting an expender after braces is retarded jfl so i wanna get an expender asap so maybe the healthcare in Germany can pay for it (if I start before 18 its possible)

I think we can all agree that my palate is narrow but is it narrow enough for my orthodontist to give me an expender?

What Im gonna tell my orthodontist:

• Tongue has no proper space on the palate (rests on teeth)
  
  
• Mild crowding in the front
  
  
• Dark spaces when smiling (buccal corridors)
  
  
• I often mouth breathing
  
  
• Nasal breathing feels suboptimal
  
  
• hard to hold right tongue posture (mewing)
  
  
• Bite feels uneven

Should I larp about sleep apnea or smth like that?

Whats the best expender? (MSE, MARPE, SARPE, FARPE, etc.)

What results can I expect? Is it really worth it?

If anyone has experience with expenders in Germany pls lmk I often heard its hard to get expenders in Germany..

Ich hatte ja noch nichts wollte aber vor Zahnspange noch mse.

Also sagst du 0% chance dass Krankenkasse übernimmt? Auch wenn meine Eltern mit Larpen (also bei paar Sachen etwas übertreiben als es eigentlich ist)

Wenn sie Mitlarpen und der Kieferorthopäde das durchboxxen will möglich.
Sonst in der Regel Fälle von Pflegegrad 0 - II nicht.

Not at a regular orthodontist, no. But at an airway focused one, yes.
