It’s very strange honestly I eat very healthy, I have big tongue too my face is wide especially my jaw but my mouth is just super small in contrast, just a bit wider than my nose and it looks bad
Honestly my palate is not that special either but I have good maxilla, and I honestly think I look better now then when it was slightly wider with braces(I haven’t worn a retainer), I might increase it later though only because I dislike my top lips length in proportion to my bottoms.
It does. My orthodontist has pics of my palate at around age 11/12, terrible maloclussion. Now my palate is slightly bigger and the majority of the maloclussion has solved itself
