Its about showing that ur an "empathetic" person and to portray urself as a morally righteous person, generally the idea goes like this, if ur ethnic/minority or young u advocate for whatever liberal shit ur peers will be advocating for cause of muh intellectual and muh science, if ur cracka or older u advocate for whatever is conservative, being shitskin and being conservative is cringe because its against the rules.
