Is a pallet expander olny used for crouded theeth or can it be used for something more? If yes what would be the benefits of using it other that crounded theeth

No, they are also use for overlapping and/or crooked teeth. The expander will widen narrow upper jaws though. Hope this helps. (is this worthy of a solution?)

Will this create a gap between my front theeth?

It will create a gap but your body should naturally remove and it will go back to normal. Only the upper jaw should widen.
