Parents are not letting me be on Covid-Buxx

I'm very angry right now. Essentially, I got laid off from Panera Bread a few months ago due to Corona, which allowed me to apply and get accepted for unemployment. With the unemployment benefits, I was making 1200 every 2 weeks. This is 6x as much money as I was making with Panera Bread, or any job I can get (18yrs old). With this unemployment, I would be on the benefits for all summer.

Here is the rage fuel- My parents are FORCING me to get a job. I will be making SUBSTANTIALLY less money with a job compared to unemployment money. It is bullshit. Now I won't be able to moneymaxx my surgeries before college.

I've asked some of my friends what they think and they say my parents are doing the right thing, but I still don't understand how that is true. I would be making way more money in unemployment

I'm trying to do that also, I don't really know where to volunteer though. I can't at any animal shelters because I am highly allergic

I did volunteering with the local red cross. Where I lived I could get first aid training for free with the red cross in exchange of doing volunteerwork for 1-2 years. Eventually got an uniform+first aid equipment and was allowed to volunteer at local, but also national events.

I used to pick out all the music festivals. Often chilled with drunk/overdosed girls at the first aid post. I was too subhuman back then to slay though so it was unfortunate.

I looked so subhuman back then (this was at 17-20yo) JFL. I am just trying to forget. I did literally ALL of the normie advice: just volunteer bro. Just socialize bro. Just do social hobbies bro
