Parents are so unaware of height and it’s importance for no reason

My older brother is 5’7 and I’m 6’1. This sounds worse than it is, but he pulls and is still above average looks. Parents always praising my height in front of him (it’s not that tall but short family) and you can always see the same look on his face. They sometimes even make fun of his height when he’s nearly as tall as my dad. Do these guys not know their child’s height is due to their genetics and upbringing?

Not saying your parents are stupid but being educated =/= being smart

‘Smart’ to me would be the 99th+ percentile of humans.

Nevertheless your parents probably conceived your brother at a time period when they were in an unhealthier state. Leading to worse genes being spread and a butterfly effect of not caring to feed him enough etc. (for him to be 6 inches shorter)

I feel smart is more 90th percentile but that’s just a matter of opinion. And yes I agree educated≠smart but for certain education you won’t be able to do well if you’re not somewhat higher iq than average.

Strange because he’s only 2 years older than me and I’m 18. We both were brought up in similar financial situations but I got really obese in my childhood while he was normal.
