every nt person ive met talks to their parents a lot in this casual way like they'd banter with someone on the street

strict parents who only talk to their kids to lecture them or to speak at them are raising weird little failures who don't know how to talk to people. especially bad is parents who don't tolerate any form of talking back, like raising people who'll just schiz out and shut down when someone shouts at them.
