Whether we like it our not parent will always view children as an extension of themselves. It makes sense since we are their genetic successors. But because of that any fault we have as children is a reflection of them as parents. This causes parents to either vigorously try to dictate whatever their kids do so that they aren’t future embarrassments to their family name or in most cases just ignore any fuckups and hope best.
I, as I’m sure many of you here is someone who fits in the second group. I have a late 20s guy who never had a gf and my parents saw the signs. In their own way they tried to force me to socialize with people but it never worked since I’m a chud nerd who lives in the ghetto. Safe to say me and the Tyrones and Pedro’s in my hood never had similar interests. When I actually spoke about my issues with intimacy and lack female interaction they just brushed it under the rug. They told me I’m handsome and someone will appear. Fucking cunts. I know I’m not alone in this.
