For the past two months, I have been training at home because I was broke asf. Now that I have secured a well-paying job, I finally have the means to buy a gym membership. A gym just two blocks from my home is offering a Black Friday deal. When I went in to sign up, I learned that I couldn’t open a membership on my own because I am still 17 🫩. I brought the situation to my father but instead of just giving me the ok and letting me pay for it, this nigga said he’s gonna buy a $500 dumbbell rack 😂. The annual gym membership costs only $300, and I can cover it myself. I tried to explain that access to professional equipment was much better but he dismissed the point entirely.

Cope or rope?

Bumppp. Any other ways to try and convince him?

Is he wanting you to pay for the dumbell rack? Maybe you could ask if he would pay for the dumbbell rack and you pay for the gym membership if he wants it so much.

No he thinks that the gym is too expensive and I’m gonna waste my time when it has a pool (which I’m not gonna use) and a basketball court. He thinks that calisthenics will build me muscle and more reps=more muscle. I tried teaching him but he’s just ignoring me. The most brutal part is that I went to the doctor yesterday and she said I’m healthy when I’m 6’2 and 175 pounds. I can only work part time because of school and I have to pay for gas. Fml

He’s js rage baiting you
